Samurize Scripts

Quick question:-

Anyone know how I can get a script to display a countdown in days, hours, minutes and seconds to a specified date/time?

I'm assuming it'd need to be some kind of modified calendar...

As the samurize site is down, would people mind linking to their scripts on other webspace as I'd like to try some new stuff :)

Can you upload your script somewhere (and maybe the desktop picture too) ? It's just about the best I've seen so far, suits my tastes colour and font wise.

I've uploaded a Rar of my Samurize directory (2MB)HERE

And the wallpaper is HERE

Just make sure you extract the Samurize directory to your C:\Program Files diectory and everything should work. Its running on a res of 1280x1024 so you might have to juggle things a bit if you run at lower res.

You will have to reposition everything if you run at a higher res. Also you'll need to change the drives section if you dont have a C, D & E drive. you'll also need to alter the network sections to point at your modem/network card and unless you live in Milton Keyes you'll need to alter the url for the weather.

Much better to write your own config ;)
 
If you can find any countdown script then it can usually be adapted to work with Samurize, if you have look round and post a countdown script then that would help :)
 
OK I've found one that does a countdown, but only shows it in either days, hours, seconds or months rather than a combination of them all. I want a countdown to some festival dates this summer, to display like this:-

59 days, 17hrs, 29mins and 38secs.

Hmm I like that wedge, any chance you could make that script available to have exactly what you got there ? except i need to change weather region and put on my own wallpaper ... never seen these till I stumbled on this thread , looks great, but does it eat resources much ?

Eeek .. lol half the taskbar filled, I guess you dont care for resource usage :p

Hmmm , been fiddling but the main site is down :(, Anyone have a script so I can get my local IP (on ntl broadband) as the one in the file I downloaded from Beezelbub is an external one .
