You can't directly so place a text meter over the icon and link that instead.

hmm cant seem to get it up and running...:(

Would love to help The_Spawn, but Im hella busy at the mo with my Uni work. :(

However, a few points that Id recommend that will really help,

1. Read this : http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/ldw/tutorial.html

2. Work through some of the examples, so you get at least a basic understanding of how the Config program works etc. Try making your own basic config, and get it working, then change parameters etc to see what happens.

3. If you are feeling comfortable with creating your own script, then try downloading one of the examples that have been posted here and modifying it, though bear in mind that very few of the things will work.

lol nope given up on the damm thing...was up till 4am trying to get it to run...oh well was a nice try tho...really did like the desktops that i hve seen in this thread....but like i said..ditched the program now...cba with it....lol...its not that easy..especially the script bit...the site from above was helpfull up to a certain extent....

oh well back to good ole coolmon me thinks...gives me all the info i need anyways on my desktop...:D
 
Anyone found that their beta has expired..

as soon as it turned the first of May..ie past midnight the program brought up an error when it starts saying the beta has expired and to go get a new one from the site.

The site is still down and to get it to run I have to set the date in the past and load it and then reset the date.

Yup, and the .81 alpha too. I'm sure they've got the next version up their sleeves ready for release shortly.

Beta expired. What a damm shame, got my desktop looking lovley aswell, then this happens.

Hope they release a new version v.v.soon.
 
Hi,

Having read the replies about the beta expiring mine seemed fine, until...........I just had to reboot to fix some network settings, now i've lost mine too.

How will i know what's on telly, whether its gonna rain or if i have any emails? Oh the misery! :(

Just d/loaded and installed new non time-limit version, it WORKS!!!!

So all that hard work wasn't wasted after all...... PHEW!!

Now all we gotta do is wait for the next version... with "a few new cool features". Hmmmm sounds interesting... :D
 
Yeah, it works :)

They have now removed the time limit, had to change a couple of settings, couldnt get it to run straight away but its all singing and dancing again now, and my desktop is back to its lush state.

One thing, I can't seem to get the cpu usage working correct, if I set it to idle, it works as you would expect, but % usage doesn't.
The path I have seen is processor/blah blah, but I only have the option of Process, which must be different :confused:

Anyone know how to get this fixed ?
