Samurize Scripts

The path I have seen is processor/blah blah, but I only have the option of Process, which must be different
Are you saying that when you click on Add Meter|Add PerfMon the form that opens doesn't have a Processor option in the list box in the upper left?

Process is completely different from Processor. THe latter is the chip the former an element of code being run by the OS

Okay, I might be the last person ever to discover Samurize but I WILL have my work seen :D

or Here

What do you think? Simple I know but it shows the info that I need! :)

Sanchez, your not the last one to discover samurize. I'm probably the newest newbie so far. I'm still struggling on saving and getting my configs to appear on my desktop.

Samurize is very new and seems very exciting. I havent seen anything about it in the press or computer mags before. I think we may one group of a small handfull throughout the world who are doing this.

I bet it gets noticed because its really slick and displays cool info right where you want it. Thats why I'm not giving up. However, at the moment I'm pretty clueless. I need a lot more help from you guys to get me flying.

OLE Error 80041001 ?

Am using XP Pro SP1
With IE6 SP1

The external IP script doesn't have any error trapping, so if it doesn't get a response when it tries to pull back the html from www.whatitmyip.com then it gives an OLE error.

I'll rewrite/improve it when I get the time....

thank god they released a no time limit version, i was kinda annoyed after the number of hours i spent making mine.

Weather script doesnt seem to update now though :(

I find my copy keeps crashing every so often :(

What is it doing when it 'crashes'? If it is coming up with an OLE error then that is probably due to the external IP script which is a bit buggy and doesn't cope well if it can't find the whatismyip.com site.

No error messages just hangs - not taking any processor time but not coming up as not responding either.

Have removed the external IP side of things and see how that does - but then i had that set to every 2 hours and it has been crashing/not responding more often than that.

I have just put a base build of Win XP Pro SP1 on and Office 2003 beta 2 - ( oh and all updates that it needs except slow down one) is there any VBScript packs i should throw on?

Edit:- Well it wasn't the IP Script that was doing it as it just bombed out again

that was the one causing my samurize to lock up - removed it and not a problem now

That's my script

I wonder what's causing the problem, as it's working perfectly well with my Samurize setup. What version of the script are you using? The latest version, and the only one which I would recommend using is 0.9. Earlier versions used a much less robust method of restarting the Samurize client, however 0.9 should not have any problem if set up correctly.
