Just wanted to reiterate the great service from MSI. My GD65 was picked up on Monday and the replacement delivered on Wednesday. Can't ask more than that. Super service!

Not yet still waiting maybe today maybe tomorrow finger`s crossed :)

If you've sent back your Sandybridge mobo then you'll be waiting a little while. Been on the phone to them Tuesday as I didn't receive email confirmation the received it last Tuesday but no apology.

Glad I took a copy of the tracking number in my haste to beat the many Bank Holidays in vain. If it goes the usual 7-10 working days then I won't get mine until 6th April - that's 18 continuous days without my main PC (I have a work PC as backup but no match for new rig). I have no idea why once its signed for that Asus didn't simply send the new B3 Rev out the next day.

So far looking back you can see MSI is actually doing really well returning mobos. Could do with a table of actual return times amongst manufacturers.

Got my new Asus board yesterday, it got picked up on the 18th, arrived there on the 19th (I made a note of the tracking number) not too bad on their part, just a shame for the bank holiday weekend making it take a lot longer.

Got the new B3 rev Asus motherboard today :D

It comes with new BIOS version 1502. In the box was the mobo, 4x Sata-III cables + 2x Sata-II cables, front panel, support DVD, manual, Sli bridge, Q-shield, Q connector kit. Not bad considering I just back the mobo in the supplied box.

What are people with Foxconn motherboards doing?

All I am getting from Foxconn is contact my retailer, I purchased the board from Overclockers, and all I am getting from them is contact Foxconn.

It's a bit annoying, especially since I could have returned the motherboard at the time because I was in the seven day window, but didn't based on assurances from the staff here on the forums.

So I am really curious did anyone get a replacement for a Foxconn P67 or H67 mobo?

Sent my Asus P8P67 Pro back on the 10th and received the replacement board on the 12th. I also only sent the board back and got all the accessories again :)

I'm in exactly the same position. Very annoying. OcUK said to keep checking the website...this was two months ago. I don't blame them thought, I blame Foxconn mainly.

Is there a limit to the length of time after purchase that you can still return under SoGA?

The word is 'reasonable'. There is no fixed time limit. That could work both ways - in that you don't have a 'cut off' point when you must return the board, but also that if you don't return the board when you become aware of the fault, then it might be reasonable to assume that you accepted that fault.

PS - In strict interpretation of SoGA, Foxconn are correct - your contract of sale is with the retailer. Manufacturer direct exchange is an act of goodwill.

Don't really want to be without a board for very long.

Technically, you have a period of 6 years after the date of purchase within which to report a fault - although after 6 months, the onus is placed upon the purchaser to prove that the fault was inherent (this is not an issue with SB since Intel have broadcast the fact far and wide). The "reasonableness" part relates to the amount of time within which the fault is rectified once reported.
