Sapphire AMD Deals

Overclockers have literally nicked my money, they still have no wish to refund me. That episode on the graphics card section where they tried their hardest to send that customer off with no warranty replacement should have raised obvious red flags. This store is now 100% officially banned from my shopping list, seems I have to go to the effort of getting my bank to reverse this, marvellous.

I hope not, my card went back they received it Friday, not heard anything yet but keeping my fingers crossed. The thing says 3-5 days so I'll leave it till Monday then chase, be nice to be sorted before Starfield comes out I've not even redeemed the game code.

But yea, £700 down from what, order placed 22nd June, I know these things take time and hopefully be sorted but you can't help but stress.

Hi there

As I just said in private conversation to the gentlemen above, it is no secret but OcUK moved to the brand new ERP which has been in planning for past few years, unfortunately as with all brand new ERP aka operating system there have been glitches one of which is some refunds where a human has to go in and manually input them all, as such some are taking longer than others (upto ten days). The CS team now think they are pretty much on top of it so it should not be an issue.

If there is anyone else still waiting, just drop me a message (start conversation) and I can get it looked into and moved up the list if it is one of the ones requiring manual action.

Ok thanks, I'm happy to wait for the normal course for the time being, if I don't hear back maybe start/mid next week I might take you up on that.

Thank you.

It has been sorted. I am highly impatient, lol. I will work on my impatience in the future.

Why did you refund, out of interest?

I haven't yet.

Got my 7900xt and doesn't work properly, terrible performance in games, intermittent whole screen artifacing, got it all on video & screenshots etc. Oddly benchmarked ok though on ungine heaven though.

DDU drivers, made sure seated properly, 850w PSU separate cables, PC working otherwise fine etc etc etc.

Went to customer services week before last, initially said I wanted to DSR as was panicking if I'm honest, people on this forum convinced me to rma, so went with that, took a while going back and forth etc but sent it back Wednesday last week and it arrived there Friday according to DPD.

I'm just praying they also find fault, in which case I'm happy to take a replacement. What I'm really worried about is it'll somehow work perfectly there and then I have a problem, because short of replacing other parts to try and resolve and that could get costly plus potential not even fix it, I'll effectively have a £700 paperweight.

I been doing DIY pc building since I was 15 and I'm nearly 40 now and I cannot figure it out other than it's a hardware fault with the GPU, if it's not it's some REALLY obscure cause and I have a problem.

Hopefully you get it resolved soon, and yes it's stressful when you get into a RMA soap opera.

Seen as you had the card less than 14 days I would have thought that if they can't find a fault with the card then you could DSR.

Tell me more of this... SAP?
It is a vile piece of software. Capable, but it has the ease of use and user friendliness of a very disconnected and unpleasant German accountant, with equally impossible error communication.

I understand why companies like it and use it, but as a user who has had to interact with it in the past, it is cancer.

Ahh... sounds to me like Salesforce! Have to interact with that on occasion.

Try Redthorn, an MRP system that has more stupid than usefulness in it. Lol. There are free open source MRP's that are better.
Got my 6700XT today and it's in and running, will sort the Starfield code out tomorrow.
Loaded up Death Stranding and set.everything to very high @ 1080p 60 FPS a d the card pulled 68w with a junction temp of 59c. Was super smooth and looked a lot better so a big thank you to @Gibbo and the OCUK team for working with sapphire on a fantastic deal.

I get the impression these babies are selling *fast*!! Sapphire are usually pretty damn good at supplying quantity to OcUK so sure more stock isn't too far away...
