Is the Sapphire RX 7900 XTX Pulse worth the extra £190 playing at 3440x1440 with a 7800x3D?

15% extra perf plus the extra vRam, to boil it down somewhat. Is that worth £190 to you?Is the Sapphire RX 7900 XTX Pulse worth the extra £190 playing at 3440x1440 with a 7800x3D?
For reference
As I read it, you get standard or premium depending on the hardware in the PC you redeem the key on.
Fourth from the top in the lower lost, right under the 7900GREInteresting, I have a 5600G in a machine built earlier in the year, so it would be possible to get a RX6600, chuck it in that build, and bump it up to Premium?
Odd the RX7600 doesn't appear in the lower list, just the mobile variants.

I doubt it. Surely the code you get is for either the premium or standard edition and which hardware you buy determines which code you get rather than all codes being generic and activating as either premium or standard based on what is in your systemInteresting, I have a 5600G in a machine built earlier in the year, so it would be possible to get a RX6600, chuck it in that build, and bump it up to Premium?

When I got my 7900XT I got the premium edition. You have to install some AMD software that varifies your hardware but I think the reason for that is to try and prevent people from just selling the codes for cheap rather than deciding what version of the game you are eligible for. The code you entered should determine if its premium or not. I could be wrong but I'd be surprised if it was the other way.Not sure really, but from what I've gathered from a few others earlier in the thread, is you redeem the code with AMD and they verify the hardware is present.
Of course, could well be they require both codes from both purchases to be eligible for the premium edition.
But the 5600G isn't an eligible product by itself so presumably comes with no code, so maybe possible

Oh didn't release the SKU was the same. Good point. Maybe it as you say thanThe AMD Rewards SKU code added to your basket is the same for a RX6600 and a RX7900, if these were tiered I would expect a different SKU or OC can't assign the correct code through automation.
I would assume it's tricky for retailers to catch every combination, would be much easier to use hardware detection at the point of activation.

Exactly this. The code is generic. The hardware you have installed determines which copy you get.

Don’t disgrace reputable Norfolk folk please, Barrybear. Minge has already shamed us a few times.Been waiting to upgrade from my 1080ti for a long time and just hoping to see prices drop to reasonable levels just doesnt seem to be a thing anymore and then seeing £699 for the 7900xt pulse it seems too good a deal.
Looks like an alphacoll nitro waterblock should fit this as well so that might be down the line at some point.
Really hope this isnt a mistake.
Overclockers have literally nicked my money, they still have no wish to refund me. That episode on the graphics card section where they tried their hardest to send that customer off with no warranty replacement should have raised obvious red flags. This store is now 100% officially banned from my shopping list, seems I have to go to the effort of getting my bank to reverse this, marvellous.
