The whole thing sounds like one big mess, Heads should be rolling over this.

Honestly not surprised so many very early adopters are having issues with them. They're all from a small batch test run, and not full production run cards.
So you essentially paid for early test cards.
Pretty much mate yeah lol. Now i'm just waiting like everyone else.
so, i am not the only one who had to return the card due it being faulty!
I guess i will cancel the order and never to pre-order again, might just get a reference card or 1060

wasn't recognized by system at all!Curious: What was wrong with your card?
wasn't recognized by system at all!
yes, it powers up and fans spin but still not recognized, it was very strange, wasted the whole weekend trying to figure out whats the problem, then gave up and returned it, now I don't know when the replacement will arrive as there is no stock, might just go for a 1060, although I have a freesync monitor and would have prefered and AMD cardOh, wow. Did it even power up correctly? (Fans spin, LED logo light up)
I ended up putting a €100 towards a Fury X instead, since after a month of waiting that extra 100 isn't so bad for a much faster, quieter and cooler card.
If you don't want a reference card ( which I would avoid ), the only other option is a 1060 in the same price range.
Got awful coil whine on my RX480 Nitro + OC.
Other than that, the card is pretty good.

Looks like AMDs removed the Polaris 10 page, that claimed 2.8x perforamnce per watt.
That was a mistake or possibly trolling by someone - wasn't removed nor is it likely to be.Looks like AMDs removed the Polaris 10 page, that claimed 2.8x perforamnce per watt.
Just ordered a reference rx480, to be honest after checking all the reviews its not much different when it comes to overclocking, the reference cards when overclocked are sometimes faster than the AIB cards, only down side is the higher temperature and noise levels which I will have to live with.Although it's frustrating you would be mad to get a 1060 with a Freesync screen.
