SAPPHIRE RX 480 NITRO NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (WORLD FIRST) !!!

Of course it is OC. There are 2 Nitro+ results in that chart and one of them is with 1420 Mhz.

Lol. I didn't even see the stock Nitro+ there. The colors confused me.
Hopefully that kind of overclock is achievable by the majority.

edit: Maybe what Kyle (HardOCP) was told was correct after all.

AIB partners are reporting to me this morning that with extremely good custom air coolers the 480 GPUs are seeing from 1480MHz to 1600MHz clocks, but tell me it is a "lottery draw" on GPUs.

anyway to find out where in the pre-order queue you are? I guess I'm very low having ordered two days ago, I don't really want to wait for 3 weeks :| especially since I've got holidays next week and want to bash at some games for a few days.

I think the first batch is 30 followed closely by 2000 so you'll be fine judging by what gibbo has said. Those 2000 aren't depleted....yet

Will the 4gb version of the nitro, be much different? i just need a card to tide me over for a year or two and just wondering if i could get away with a 4gb version for 1080p gaming

Will the 4GB suffice for a 1080p gamer who is coming from a 7950? Or is the extra for 8gb worth it?

i think 4gb is enough for most games
i guess there's always going to be 1 or 2

if i was on a budget id get the 4gb...so nice for a £200 card

Supposed to be a Toxic edition coming as well with higher clocks i believe, and has anoyne seen concrete info yet on the Powercolor Devils clocks? i wouldnt be suprised if some of those 480s go over 1500 when OC'd on air.

Either way, cya 1060, your life was so so short...

Don't get overexcited as those results aren't confirmed. Tomorrow after 3pm we should know everything.

"PowerColor Red Devil RX 480 8GB GDDR5 utilizes 8GB of GDDR5 memory with 2304 stream processors, ships core clock up to 1330MHz, and has 2000MHz memory clock speed which is connected via a new high speed 256-bit memory interface."

Yep, and i fully expect the 480 customs to be ahead of the 1060 customs even in DX11 titles, especially when overclocked.

The 1060 is a great here and now product, the 480 is 100% more future proof and already trades blows with the 1060, the custom 480's will enhance on this.

Be interesting to see how this stacks up to the GTX 1060 EVGA Superclocked... I mean if the 1060 is still killing it then might as well spend the extra £9...

This is why I should stay away from reading ANYTHING sometimes. The DEVIL was alledged to have about 1370mhz on boost or something, and now it's only 1330 ? Well.. that is lame.
