If you're using W10, click on the icon (start) & scroll until you see the large letter C & click on Calculator. Type:
50 (average watts consumed more than the 1060 at load) x 365.25 (days in the year) x 7.14 (No of hours at peak) = 130 (Kwh)
Then:
10 (Average watts consumed more than 1060 when in use idling) x365.25 x 16.86 (hours if the day remaining) = 61 Kwh
130 + 61 = 191 Kwh @ British Gas standard tariff 30.01p per Kwh = £57.49 a year! That's what running a 480 will cost more than a 1060 based on my average usage for work, it will cost more the moment I play any games!
Also, because energy is purchased in $, not £, the price of electricity will increase over the next few months too, as the £ has already fallen by more than 10%. Sometimes being an AMD fanboy can't be that good, can it?
