Hah, yeah so the early design has the little logo the right way up, but somewhere down the line for production they flipped it again. How odd.

I find it funny that everyone that thinks it should be a pentagram on the card and thinks it's the Star of David. Especially those that claim to know about it all ( reddit ).

That symbol is the Seal of Solomon ( one of them ), and predates the introduction of the Star of David ( first used in the 14th century ), and only became the official seal of Jewish communities in the 17th century.

Kabbalah, states that the Seal of Solomon was a signet gifted to the King from God with the power to control Demons and the elements, even sealing them. There are several Seals, and PowerColor used the wrong one haha.

Is the card design a little cringe? Oh yes, although I still like it a lot, and find the card based on reviews to be the most well rounded RX 480 of them all.

Definitely looks like a very good card, I'll still be very happy with my Nitro though I'm sure.

Oh yes, and it's still the faster card out of the box. As of this week it's also £10 cheaper than the PowerColor on OcUK so a great buy for folks.

Wait,wut?? Apparently Gibbo sold more RX480 cards in the last week than GTX1060 ones?? That is with the GTX1060 having apparently more stock available and non-reference cards too.

Plus GTX1070 sales matched GTX1060 ones due to the special offer.

If anyone hasn't ordered the 480 Nitro yet I placed mine on Friday and im 390th in Queue.

Might not even get it for August, was forced to cancel my first order as I lost my job and couldn't change address as I used Amazon Payments.

Gutted would have probably had it on Friday if I didn't need to cancel =(

Would it be worth it at this point to spend an extra £50 and get a fury nitro instead? I've seen people doing it on here and reddit, but the difference doesn't seem that substantial in noise and fps.

This was stated whilst testing with Heaven. I have since started using fire strike and you do have to raise the power limit to 25% .

As far as I can tell then lumping up the extra for a fury is a great shout. Reason I haven't is because I'm gaming at 1080p, I think a fury would be abit overkill, and I'd have to get a more powerful PSU which I don't fancy doing right now!

I'm also at 1080p60hz, so I'm not sure if I should go for it
