Likely either a fringe case or they messed up big time.
I was 21st in the queue so my 4gb 480 should have been sent before theirs.
Like the other guy said, its not an instant 480.

True I can ask about the stock levels for both and how many they expect.
Go with whatever one is likely to arrive first.
kinda unsure what to do myself atm. I ordered the 8gb nitro oc(going to get a second when prices drop abit) along with a 144hz freesync monitor and a new power supply on the 28th was expecting to get my power supply and monitor and wait for my card but since been told none of my order will ship untill the card is in stock so unsure if i should cancel and just order a 1080

Same... got bored of waiting for decent 480/1060 to come into stock, saw a deal on a Strix 1070 so bought that lol.

I'm still holding on but its tough... Really hopeful I get one before the weekend. Hopefully we can get a stock update soon. Can't believe its taking this long to get the custom cards out. I hate to think what this is doing to AMD potential sales...

4GB Nitro arrived today after ordering Monday night, very impressed with the service
How the hell did you manage that and people that preordered are still waiting for stock?
I'm really happy with the 4GB. Have so far been conservative with speeds.. taken the core up to 8GB speeds and reduced the voltage. Also, tried clocking the memory higher, but that's been less successful.
Noise wise, with a temperature target of 80, i've been very happy. The only time it seems to spin up like mad is in the menu on Dirty Bomb. Not sure if that's flash based or something, but it seems to really like to rev up the GPU.

Got an update. Now 27th in queue but no answer to people ordering Monday and getting the card next day.
