Yeah I agree with this too.
Not sure if possible due to possibly being at end of life for tyres being a possibility.

This comes up time and time again
2008 when refuelling was still a thing it indeed was banned, and was universally disliked by teams and promptly removed.
Can’t see it being reinstated

Motorsport is a lottery, period
In which case, how do you prepare for someone ramming you into turn 1? You can’t….

Merc having a complete **** show with Hamilton all weekend. I mean seriously what the hell.

Hamilton messed up Quali, but he was strong in the race, and only really lost out due to bad SC/VSC timing. Don't see how Merc did badly with him.

Sainz is going to have a horribly boring season of finishing 3rd and watching Leclerc fight for the championship..

This season is going to be a rude awakening for Sainz I think. He's just not on the same level as the best.

He seems to have struggled to get to grips with the new car so far; if he can then I think he'll prove himself to be very close to Leclerc again this season

I agree I think pitting under VSC and FSC should be banned.

I'm sure they did close the pitlane during safety car periods for a spell in the 00's but it was before the no refuelling rule so seemed a bit stupid.
The pitlane being closed happens so infrequently nowadays (only if a car is in the entry/exit) that I don't really see its an issue

Sainz appearing close to Leclerc last season was mostly down to luck. Even then he was solidly beaten in Quali and in races they both finished. He's a decent driver, don't get me wrong, but he's never shown any sign of being a truly great driver. This year, with a car capable of winning a WDC, Leclerc will show him a clean pair of heels.

Not sure hes got the aggression or a sufficiently better car to do it unfortunately. I can't imagine what it will be like if RB dominate this era of F1.

Fingers crossed ferrari can develop this car well.

Mercedes are in a tricky position. There’s no guarantee their design path works and if it doesn’t they’ve lost important development time on a concept that works.

One thing I'm loving about this season so far. Between the cars much improved ability to follow each other and how well matched the red bulls and ferrari are, there's none of this get in front and control the pace nonsense. If you want to stay in front you have to keep pushing the whole way round. I hope it keeps up, cos it could lead to a lot of very exciting races

I think it's more that last season both were at the limit of what the car can do. Now that the car is more capable LeClerc's talent is shining through. I don't think Sainz is that far behind though, but he does need to pull his finger out and get on with it. I also expect LeCerc to make more errors than Sainz giving Sainz an opportunity to claw some points back. He needs to comfortably deal with Perez though. If he can't do that we won't ever be in contention.

Agreed, no more keeping a car in your dirty air degrading their tyres. The cars seem to be able to make a sustained attacked for a number of laps too.

I hope the FIA address the way drivers have been pulling over, when their cars die.

Seeing a car slowing to a crawl on pit lane entry when they could have just pulled over by a marshall post / gap in the fencing is worrying.

Its become a real trend recently. Perhaps fuelled more by how these modern cars ‘die’ and go into limp mode. Very dangerous and unnecessary.

I'll hold judgement till Barcelona, if they can make a decent race out of that glorified test track I'll truly believe the rule changes have worked miracles! :p

I hold no hope for Monaco still.
