Save it for the black stuff... OcUK Manchester Meet 3

Taaa daaa!

7 pages already !!
Smash me onto the 100% DEFINATE list, unless my motor randomly sets on fire before then.

As for keeping tow with a bike  ... game on :)
It seriously gets bumpy when giving it the maximum attack heading down hill from dead-mans junction to the bridge, great fun for the driver, scary for passengers! ;)

I've managed to gash my paintwork as well Gilly, passenger side rear quarter, side-skirt, door-strip & body, mutha-trunker. That & the scratched alloys & burnt front tyres make's mine look a right shed!

That said, I've got to admire your attitude - getting into the situation where every stone chip rips your heart out isn't fun.
That's the problem with mint cars. Jonny's always whinging about little flaws on his Integra.

I've gone past to point of caring now :p I don't like rust though so I want to get the little bits sorted and generally tidy it up, including fixing the bumper which broke when I handbraked it into a grass verge

Hehe, should see mine. I managed to scrape right down to the plastic when I attempted a handbrake turn a while ago.

I didn't expect it to spin that much :o

So, can I put you down as a maybe then Si?

Yeah a maybe will do. I'm not sure if i'll be here yet you see as I tend to go away most weekends to see Uni mates etc. Also I do enjoy my saturday nights/ sunday morning lie ins. :D

Cool Si. Well if you can make it then that'll be great, but I know what you mean about the lie ins. Only I tend to do it during the week when I should be at work :s

If you can't make it, nevermind. At least it makes the attendee list look better :D

Arr yeah random thread borrowing... Sam, my net's playing funny-buggers at home, it should be fixed soon, we can sort something out about you heading up early for the meet then!

Back on track, anybody bringing along a digital video-camera thingy? as in filming things? thingy thing.

Sweet you can Bless the motors before they lap :)

haha :D I was just about to say that!

Now, we need to get pictures of that. Hmm, I get paid on the 10th March... really tempted to treat myself to a DV camera.

Mark, does your cam have a video input?

Fraid not, i really wish it did, i could always rig up some bullet cam to laptop then display the output on my Avic screen while driving but this is too much messing round tbh.

I think i will mount the camera external on a 3 pad mount, then rig the video output into my Avic screen so i can see the action in car, i will then drive ahead of you guys get one that straight and film some overtaking action etc ;)

I will be the camera man want some good footage this time round :)

Awesome stuff mate! That was kinda what I wanted to do at the junction of death. We'll come to some arrangement though as I still want to get footage of people pulling out of the junction and speeding off into the distance.

Maybe we can take turns to go ahead and set up at different points :)

Sounds good, would be more that up for doing this, come to some sort of arangement that one of us heads off few mins before, sets up then a simple prank call you guys head off and i will snap you on the way round, we could use the known meeting points as places to stop or perhaps that could be a filming point for you guys coming in!
