Perhaps its just an excuse and your lapping it up, i feel no love between you two, no love.....

I feel the same way about you.

Anyway, enough of this chit chat :p Go spam GD if you want to talk about love, it's full of those threads over there :D

Coco, great advice, Paul... get your names down :D

lol El...

Alternator wasn't broken... the tensioner bracket broke.
My battery went flat because I had my hazards on for hours. Funny though, so did every one else!
Ok, so it did refuse to start once at the services, but a bit of foot to the floor fun and it was ok.

Anyway, I'm in the process of sorting out a PX with a certain Rover Turbo ;) :D

Si, really think you should at least *try* and come. Not fair that all these non-Rover lovers have seen your car and I haven't :p

That was the car bottling it, not me showing kahunas or me making a mistake.

She's as new now (except for a gouge out of the door made in Liverpool this weekend  )

i was talking about coco's driving mate, it was pretty damn scary :D

Its actually looking like i might not make this i'm afraid guys :( turns out its a mates birthday on the Sat so the chances i'll be coherant enough at 5ish the next day to set off are pretty slim :(:(

It's nothing great to look at, in fact it's quite embarrasing really compared to most other cars at car meets.

Remember what merlin affectionately called it. :(

Just looking through your pics from the first meet El, and noticed that my car is in one of them :D

Beast!

Nice looking spoiler I have there ;)

Anyway, I'm thinking of going down to the route this weekend to go for a blast, so if anyone local feels like joining me, feel free.

Sam, shame you might not be able to make it :( But there's always next time :)

:( But that's the beauty of it. Most people will look at it and think.. pft, it's just an old Rover... until you put your foot down and leave them for dead.

Anyway, at least your car has something going for it. Mine has faded grey bump strips, a knackered front bumper, swirls in the paint... should I go on :(

There's nothing embarassing about it at all - I just find it amusing that for a car so downright stupidly quick - you dont tidy it up a bit.

That said, I've got to admire your attitude - getting into the situation where every stone chip rips your heart out isn't fun. I get so pee'd off each time I notice a stone chip, It puts me in a bad mood, I've come home from a drive at 11pm at night on a weekday and gone into the garage to get my stone chip repair out because It'll just play on my mind.
