Save it for the black stuff... OcUK Manchester Meet 3

Yep Mark, that sounds great.

I like the overtaking on the straight idea, not sure if it'd be better to get a rolling overtake or for one of us to park up out of the way and capture cars going past.

The 2nd meeting place (where we meet finally for photos etc) is just after dead mans junction isn't it?

On the first run, one of us can wait on the straight and record people going past.. and then on the second run the other person can wait at deadmans junction until everyone has gone past, and then the first person can set up at the 2nd meeting spot to record the cars coming in. You'll have to wait for me though... I do actually want my car to be in footage/photos this time round ;)

Mike, yeah, maybe get some crazy videos of crazy people overtaking all of the slower cars at once :D

I'd best get scrubbed up so I look my best for MM3: The Movie ;) :D

I only just remembered, last time Andy got out of his Rover at some temporary traffic lights and I was behind. Me and Andy were at the tail end of a que and hadn't made it through the lights like everybody else. He had to get back in as the lights changed...he did a wicked wheel spin and two old people nearly fell over thinking they would get mown down :D Harmless fun.

4 cars in a row? Thats the norm for Manchester Meet, especially if your named Coco, your desparate for a "Burgah!" and decide you want to overshoot every stopping point we had arranged!

It's when you start overtaking multiple cars round bends (don't worry, you can see its clear) that it starts to get a little sketchy, especially if its icy and your tread is wearing thin ;)

Perhaps a video clip of a certain person overtaking then keeping to the wrong side of a right hand bend should be posted up!

hahaha, I remember that. I got out to come and talk to you when I saw the traffic moving again. I had to run back to my car and catch up.

If you think that wheelspin was good, you should have seen the one at the first meet. If you watch the video for the first meet where we all set off from those traffic lights lighting up our wheels, it was at that point that I left Paul sat in a cloud of my tyre smoke.

It was so funny pulling into that small village, loud engines, my music (Perhaps a little louder than it should have been) people hanging out of front house doors looking, then as everyone did a wheelspin off from those traffic lights and everyone looked........

Best bit was going up that hill and the copper was on the way down, really thought he was going to turn round and come after us!

I think everyone held their breath as they saw the copper come around that corner.

I don't think I caught the horn beeping on the video though :( I bet we have quite a reputation around those parts. Wonder if we'll be graced with the presence of a certain cyclist ;)

He was a moron of the highest order though. I was near the back of the queue and even asked myself WTF he was playing at swerving all over the road.
