:D

Si, gimme a shout if you want me to take it down.

Just wondering, how would you guys feel to a cross-forum meet?

I've mentioned this meet to a few of the Rover guys, some of them are already signed up here... just thinking we could turn it into something special.

lol Si, you've been saying that for weeks :p

Right, well in that case, we've got a Rover 220 SLi and an 800 Vitesse Sport to add to the provisional/almost certain list

Oh, cheers for that Lopez :)

I'm not fitting it by myself, don't worry. I've got a friend from the previously named Rover forums who's coming to help. He did his so it should be pretty straightforward. Will keep that in mind though.

I'm still trying to remember where I heard 'cracking the balljoint'...

He is bringing a spare battery, jump leads, wing mirrors, suspension, and probably altenator :p

No, i'm just listing parts he ACTUALLY had in his car yesterday/said he was bringing ;)

LMFAO, brilliant :D

Yeah the back seats were a little full of random crap. You should see my boot, it's worse than Si's. I'll get it all sorted next weekend, I promise.

El, definately bringing the alternator. There was one hiding under all that junk anyway.

Well, if it's anything like it was for the first part of yesterday, then... we're in for a good day :D

Even I was making good progress... well at least until my brakes started smoking. Managed to catch up with Si in the bends. He brakes too much :p

Don't worry, I'll remember to put my tartan rug on the parcel shelf :p

Yeah, that's quite embarrasing... my car actually slows down going up the motorway  WTF, I'm in 4th gear with my foot planted!

It may have been a red rover with a certain OAP driver.

LOL, that's true. Unless they wait at dead mans junction.

It'd look a bit dodgy seeing all these modified cars with young guys driving them, heh.

LOL

It was quite scary I can tell you :D

To say the car was designed to take my grandma to the shops every week, it definitely kept me grinning when I was pushing it yesterday. Oh how I'm looking forward to getting my suspension on!

On several of the bends, I went on the other side of the road to cut across... and woah... rally styleeeeee

:D So we've got 172 Corner, Dead Mans Junction and Suicide Bridge.

How about The Killer Mile for that huge straight road, or maybe for the large hill which climbs back up the other side.

Luke, you've got no idea how much fun these roads are.

It's quite amazing. They go from grin inducing flat-outness to new-pants-required cornering. Definitely the best roads I've ever been on!
