Guys, I was just thinking... should we warn everyone of the police presence as they leave the services? I can see it on those photos.
Guys, you won't have to worry about Rovers breaking. One of them has had a recent head gasket change, and the other is a Turbo, so it'll get so far in front of you lot before it breaks
El, I wouldn't say that about an alternator failure though. I was under the bonnet yesterday changing the CTS (yey) and I think my alternator bearings are squealing
It was the old car that I had to replace the alternator on. That was actually the first mechanical job I did on the car.... behind Powerpak Auto Electric
I'd only bought the thing 3 months before I crashed the car, so I ripped it off and have had it in the house ever since.
Might switch them at some point if the squealing gets worse. I recently had a full belt change and the new belt probably put too much pressure on the already worn bearings.
Right, on the first run I was thinking I'd set off from the 1st pub before every one to position myself just on the brow of the hill before the long downhill straight.
There's a section just before that straight where I can park the car so it's out of the way and with me standing on top of the brow, I'll be able to capture people coming up and passing me. Should get some rather nice grin inducing footage that way.
Then, on the 2nd run, you go ahead and wait at dead mans junction, getting people coming out of the junction and blasting off down the straight. I can then set up at the photo-shoot spot and capture several cars (including yours) coming into view.
