If you're still up for sitting around in the cold getting footage, I have a few ideas about good places to shoot from.
1 - Cars turning right out of the junction onto the first straight (get cars zooming up the hill into the distance)
2 - Cars pulling out of dead mans junction and disappearing down the hill and around the bend
3 - Just on the brow of the hill before the long straight (down the hill and then back up the other side - as shown in one of the pictures) I think this one would be good as you can see in both directions so could get footage of the cars coming up to you, through the S bend and then zipping past you down the hill
I think points 1 and 3 would be easiest to set up for, as they're not far away from the start of the route... so wouldn't take long to get to.

Fox, this thread is so big due to the huuuuuuuuuuuge amount of interest we've had. Not like you southern boys where you're lucky to get 5 people (FFS, looks like El beat me to it). Oh, and my car isn't going to break down. If anyone's it'll be Si's Saxo as the wheels fall off.
