Saving Sessions / Demand reduction thread

I read that bids from £1.00 up to £2.50 per kWh were accepted. All bids above £2.50 were rejected. It said Axle bid £2.99 and was therefore rejected.

Interestingly, it looks like the DFS requirement of 200MW fell short. Although I think save 5/12/23 (500 Required - 523 and 515 Procured) all have fallen short of the requirement.

02/02/24
17:00-17:30 / 157 Procured
17:30-18:00 / 161 Procured

oooooooo

Couldn't copy paste teh tweet as for some reason the picture was MASSIVE when I did but

New interconnector to Denmark is down until Thursday and Octopus Greener Day forecast tells us that tomorrow and Wednesday will be very high carbon for the grid...
Hopefully good news for saving session.

Confirmed 6pm to 7pm, though only 175MW requirement, even less than the last one, so not expecting great prices.

The last one on 2/2 was 200MW required, which produced 157 / 161.

I agree, on the price. It paid up to a max £2.50 last time but I'm not expecting above the £1.75 paid by Octopus this time. I would hope it isn't any less.
