I was on holiday in St Lucia but managed to activate export mode whilst on the beach

Would have been mainly grid units after the session so real benefit will be a little lower than stated.
(plus 15p export for exports but less 26p for imports from around 8pm ish)

Not quite as good here, but my baseline will have some export in it already, but I didn't need to import any.

(the downside of having a house battery and already running it when energy is at its dirtiest )

naaah my battery is not big enough and TBH i cant be bothered with the organisation of doing it as this time of year it cant make it to my cheap 11:30pm slot as it is. Just making sure it has enough capacity in there each day to cover me from 3pm - 8pm is as far as i go. also given the finite number of charge cycles in the battery (its only 3.5 years old and already down to 90% SOH) i dont see the point in forcing it to discharge.

Octopus gave me a cheap slot from 14:30 to 16:00 so I would guess it's not going to happen.

So actually only a few bids yesterday and paying a silly low amount.

This isn't going to go well I feel.

Last winter there were 15 saving sessions and we'd already had 8 by now.

I think they're as good as dead now unless we get a prolonged spell of calm, dull and cold weather at some point in Jan/Feb.
