School uniform cost

My boys school blazers are the worst cost £40 each. Compulsory, can only buy them from one shop and the never have stock. So you have to get in early and buy spares.

Spares? Pretty sure I only ever had one blazer at a time. Teach him to take it off before he gets in to any muddy fighting stuff :p

Oh I never thought of that...

One of them is Autistic, so not so much. They also wear out and out grow them. It's at least two a year and a six week wait for stock. The school is ultra strict on dress code. Soon have three boys in there, so getting expensive.

Shocker as people who can afford to spend more do....

Even if you could, there's no real reason to, school uniforms prices are surely relatively similar across the board? Especially for ones with the schools logo on it?

OP doesn't sound far off with his pricing, fair play with the 2 for £8 shoes if pumps are what the kids are cutting about in these days.

I'm not a parent but every little helps!

Pumps are a popular alternative to school shoes
