Erm, I never signed up to it m8y. I was pointing out how pathetic the rule was in support of the OP. Come on hun, keep up !![]()
You were saying it is ok to break a rule you believe to be absurd even if you already agreed to to it.

So in other words you think its ok to go through life breaking any rules you find absurd or disagree with!
Thankfully this is not the norm for most people, especially those bringing up a child. That said you do spot these type of parents a mile off!
What's your point ? My point was not conforming to patently absurd rules, which I feel is valid and sound. What exactly is your point as it's not clear from your post ?
Did I say that ? No I didn't. But thanks for the straw man fallacy. I'll file that under garbage.

Do you not have a dress code at work?
"Breaking a patently absurd rule is a good thing. "
Unless you were saying, people shouldn't do good things. "Patently absurd" is what you believe, unless there is a legal definition I'm not aware of.
No. Re read the thread.
If rules were never broken we would all be living in the dark ages.
Digging yourself a hole.
Be careful in how you phrase things. It is exactly what you said.
I'm saying what I'm saying. Read my post to see what I'm saying. It's not difficult, it's just reading.![]()

Haha, what a response.
If that is being taken out of context, please let me know how.
This thread is about school rules children and parents have agreed to. Not about the rules of an evil police state which you can't opt out of.
Isolation is meant to be a punishment for more serious misbehavour.
He didn't say that. You are putting words in his mouth. GJ
On a slight tangent...draws parallels with t&cs of software licenses which you "agree" to but which quite clearly disregard uk consumer law. So even if you "agree" to it..it certainly does not override your rights as a consumer.
If a rule is bonkers mad yes i would "break" it.![]()
