Gah, BIOS updates. Every single time I do one something goes horribily wrong!
I will wait to see what OcUK say first I think. Everything seems ok now apart from the odd 10-15mins after boot up and the yellow highlight. I just hope it isnt the calm before the storm.

I hope I have not given a bad impression of what this drive can do. I know that I have had issues with mine, but I believe (and I cant fully test until sunday again as I am away right now) I have fixed, or at least found the problem now.
A very good drive, I am tempted to setup a NAS with 2 of these.

Well when testing, it was always after a bootup. It seems that if I leave my PC for 15mins before testing the results are normal. I thought it could be something to do with firefox and how much CPU usage it uses, but I proved that wrong.
I am still testing and finding out of there is an issue, but it performs like I would expect in real world from what I can see.
I am interested to know what other people get when looking at the health check page on HD Tune on there drives.

The spin retry and unknown attribute entries in yellow in HD Tune do occur on some drives normally without it being a problem (as far as I know) (seagate drives especially tends to score some of these differently to the way HD Tune interprets them).
Andrew, was there anything discovered about my issues in the end? I am still getting random drops in performance on both drives. For example, I am trying to get some files moved over from one drive to another now, it will start going fine but then it will drop to below 1mb/s and either crash and stop or just drag along slowly. Tis slightly annoying.
