Hi, I am very interested to know what the outcome of this was now that it’s almost 3 years later - Did you need to go to court? Did you receive 3 points and a £60 fine? Did you receive something more serious? Did you end up facing no charges?
It would be extremely helpful to me to know the outcome.

I'm pretty sure they have up to 6 months once they receive your details to follow up the prosecution. I think I had to wait a couple of weeks for an SP30 a couple of months back.

They have 6 months to lay papers with the court.. The court can take a lot longer

Courts are swamped these days, they lost and never replaced a lot of staff. Much like other government departments where things will just sit in an ever growing queue forever.
