In the Driver Settings section, click on "customize", then click on the DirectDraw icon, and then the Vsync tab. it's called "prerender limit".

Tried it in vista, didn't make any difference. Might try it in XP but it's such a good game I can forgive a bit of stuttering during the intro (3..2..1..) panning

Ive got a new problem with SR on the PC (sorry for digging up such an old thread)

a whole group of races just refuse to run, it just crashes SR back to the desktop no matter which car I chose or off road/ road setup etc

I think its in the Masters section, 2nd group of races before the end - it just initially loads the sunset scene while loading with the track layout showing all for about a second or two and then completely exits the game.

(of course which means I cant test the last group of races in that section either)

The modded section works and working my way through that at the moment - but its just annoying I cant get those last few races to work at all

(all patched up a couple of days ago also)

I might just pay for the PS3 version, just a little annoying when Ive got used to the handling via the keyboard and so far in the game also
