How are they going to find those kids based on the descriptions given, theres millions of kids that sound just like that...they're called chavs. :D

first of all i am a sikh, i cut my hair, but in my religion you are not supposed to cut any hair on your body, you are supposed to leave your body the way god intended it to be, therefore the boy who had his hair cut in this attack it could be the very first time ever that his hair has been cut, this will cause an outrage within the sikh community, its like feeding pork to a muslim, or raping someone inside a church, maybe you should learn about other people's religions before making such stupid comments, it is most likely that they knew he was sikh in fact i would bet on it, its also very likely they knew he wasnt allowed to cut his hair, when these sorts of attacks against sikhs happen its because he looked like a "terrorist", sikhs are not muslims and sikhs have been fighting against muslims for the past 500 years because of the terrorism they have inflicted on our people.

Yes, but not being Sikh we dont obey your rules. Therefore whilst I agree this is assault, because the boy was physically held and trimmed - and whilst it would be upsetting to anyone... lets not work ourselves into a self-righteous rage because the boy had his hair cut off. Genuinely terrible things happen to people everyday and haircutting isn't one of them. He was lucky.

I agree with your last bit about Sikh oppression, but I don't see this crime being any more special merely because the boy had different sensiblities.

A bit null because I can't imagine being attacked in an anti-pagan way.

I'd get over it very quickly if I was even bothered, and I wouldn't expect super-special minority treatment from anyone... an assault is an assault, and you wouldn't find me getting self-righteous because someone was trying to offend my sensibilities.
