Balanced XLR cabling is a standard.
What we are talking about is Bit-rate, and codecs....
Data is Data- 0 and 1
Garbage in Garbage out.
A crap video will not look better re-encoded at 1080p...Its will just look twice as big but just as bad.
320kbps isnt garbage though its designed to be supposedly indistinguishable from lossless.
Audiophile publications frequently describe differences in quality which are not detected by standard audio system measurements and double blind testing, claiming that they perceive differences in audio quality which cannot be measured by current instrumentation and cannot be detected by listeners if listening conditions are controlled but without providing an explanation for those claims.
I'm not saying its garbage.
Spotify sounds Great

Have you got volume leveling turned on in spotify? For it to be such an obvious difference when no one else can accurately tell and thinks its placebo you have to have something broken somewhere or a setting causing the change like normalising the volume in spotify which is known to affect how it sounds.
Yep,
If you can't hear it then thats fine but don't doubt me...
Maybe I used to minutia due to mixing in my studio.![]()

Are you saying audiophile is hereditary?
I know up to a point its placebo...But this is comparison is pretty basic in difference tbh...
