4mil is on the cards (about two weeks from now), but I'll lose the big beasts that are helping me when they run out of work (giving one back to its owner and the other to its day job).

Got it sorted? I thought I had. Spent an hour yesterday cleaning dust filters - again - and reconfiguring fans. It was looking good - but then the dreaded click!

Back to using a desk fan for 'additional' cooling. Friday can't come fast enough for me - really looking forward to it! At least I can run at full tilt with the desk fan going 'till then

EDIT: Just hope a bird doesn't fly into the case in the meantime!!!!!!

Seems like we both have the same problem now, unexpected shutdowns but no cause that i can see, fault finding is my pet hate :mad:

Actually, probably the biggest hazard (literally) around here is a very stupid female pheasant! It took me about 1.5 hours to catch her last time she came in - the cat did a double take when it ran past! Because this house is so open plan, even a pheasant can take off and fly around inside!

Well, after a lot of faffing, backing out software installs etc, it became apparent that heat WAS my problem. Bizarre really, as the same set up has run for weeks without a hick-up. OK, so the weather is a little warmer than it has been, and AMD's are more heat sensitive than Intels, but come on!!!!! This is now September - not July!

Right, I'm annoyed now, and that's official! :mad:

Back down to 1 GPU. I'm not putting the second one back in until Friday. I guess that at least means I can get ahead of the game and fit a waterblock on 1 GPU during the week, mmmmmmm, shiney shiney

It's official i am slacking, congratulations to Mr Loudbob on his 10,000,000 and Mr Halz for his 8,000,000 who are both producing more than me now on a daily basis well done chaps, and everyone who pocketed a tiffy this week round of applause

Truth be told i am quite enjoying having my feet up on the work top and spending my spare time trying to remove ear wax with cotton wool buds

I suppose i should do something about this case thats screaming "Gpu Gpu" at me, its green and pretty menacing.....my next effort when i can be bothered :rolleyes:
