Settling an argument with a Don

YOU ARE ALL FAIL...

I get a pot out put a bit of butter in put beans in sprinlking of salt n pepper....

Melt CATHEDRAL MATURE CHEDDER into the beans while warming up. Add a few sprinklings of diced onions which have already been fried......stir....

Serve on warm hot toast...

I like my cheese and beans melted in together and if your feeling like a hero you can sprinkle some more grated cheese ontop of all that..

Both doing it wrong..

Boil the beans until they're a little stewed, butter toast, add marmite, add grated cheese, add beans on top

ENJOY

I'll make it for lunch and take pics :D

It's been a while since I've had beans on toast (damned my sensible eating routine! :().

However I'd toast the bread, lashings of butter, pour scoldingly hot beans with tobasco and worcester sauce onto the bread, then grate some cheddar on top and let the molten beans melt the cheese. No need to put under the grill at all.

put it all in a sandwich and put in a toasty maker or toaster bag then in the toaster

couldt resist -

2 slices of bread buttered both sides. Heat beans and pour some into centre of one slice of bread. Sprinkle liberally with Lea and Perrins. Grate cheese over the top and place second slice of bread on top. Insert whole assemblage into sandwich maker (or George Foreman) and grill until you cannot wait any longer.

Edit: Beaten by 3 mins :(

Beans ontop of the melted cheese, not the cheese ontop of the beans.

And not the fattys version where you put cheese on again.
