Sexual remarks at work

This sort if stuff is generally awkward when coming from ugly people, if she'd been an attractive younger woman the OP would t likely be too fussed.

I agree. If she had been young nice looking woman OP would probably see nothing wrong. Im not saying people should joke like that but really it is ok in my opinion until there is actually some harrassment involved which is more than general joking.

At my old job there was this nice bloke who was quite chatty and nice to everyone and he got a sexual harrassment complaint for helping some girl with work! I mean seriously some people have problems... This guy would tell me all about his fiancee every chance he got so I didnt buy it for a second that he would have done something... He left not longer after that for a better job and I bet he was glad to do so.

Inappropriate? Maybe, but if she's a full time trainer doing refresher training she's probably usually up against colleagues who'd rather not be there and that's her way of lightening the mood, so to speak.

If you're really that bothered by it, I'd speak to her in person on a friendly note, rather than make a formal complaint which would really be petty to be fair.

I've spent many a lesson with our 'Manual Handling ooh err missus' trainer helping out but never heard a double entendre. Our H&S have never uttered a double entendre and I work next to them. I am getting fed up of the other women discussing 50 Shades though and often think what would be said if I was talking to a male colleague in the same way.

I think if i properly felt uncomfortable i'd have had a word with the trainer quietly afterwards in a friendly way and just mention what i thought. No need to report anyone for something like that.

How i'd have seen that situation is that a trainer in a high pressure situation, landed in front of people they didn't know, having to talk about something boring and get people smiling and paying attention. It was just a bit of humour, and while it might have been a bit cringey and terrible in a reversed gender role, it doesn't sound like you really got weirded out by it.

Jesus Christ it's people like you who make offices a boring place to be. It read more like 'I think I should be offended, but not sure, let's ask the internets for an opinion then I will decide if I'm offended.'

A few cheesy innuendos.

If you are concerned by that I hope you never come across my office... And the males are in the minority.

Feel free to report me if I have offended you.

Can't say it would bother me, I've generally got bigger problems to deal with.

Now, if she had tried physical contact, I could understand, otherwise no big deal. Seems like she is just trying to make light of an otherwise tedious position.
