Shamima Begum: Runaway IS bride to find out if she can return to UK

Ignoring the moral aspects for a moment, how would we even start to deal with this case in the courts?

Call witnesses from Syrian and Kurdish detention camps? Send investigators to Syria? If we found evidence do we share it with the Syrian authorities? Will the Syrian courts then look to prosecute? possibly even insist she’s deported.

Just imagine the Ist’s and Ism’s mud flinging.

LOL get a grip man, it's not even close, the majority of people in the UK whether they vote Labour or Conservative or Lib Dem don't want the ISIS bride back. She can GTFO, she should have invested some time fighting her case in the Bangladeshi courts instead of just wasting the time of UK courts.

Only 15% say it was the wrong decision!

I’ve not seen any polling (would be a weird one to poll) but I would expect it to be a very close run thing just in terms of revoking her citizenship. I like many am in favour of re-instating her citizenship returning her to the uk and then putting her on trial for what ever crimes she has committed, taking advice from the security services and then dealing with her appropriately. I would have no problem with her being imprisoned in this country if the courts supported it but making someone stateless and leaving them to rot in a refugee camp isn’t the sort of thing a developed liberal democracy should be doing.

Nah. I bet the vast majority would want her stripped.

French laws Working too

An Islamic fundamentalist preacher gave a speech saying the French flag is the flag of Satan and should be burned and replaced with an Islamic flag. 12 hours later he was on a plane deported back to Tunisia. If immigrants can't integrate then they can go back

What's funny? @SPG saying foreigners need to try harder to learn English, when the majority of his posts are filled with spelling errors.

Have you considered he may suffer dyslexia or something similar? Spelling and grammar are fine honing of a language, his posts are perfectly legible. I also imagine he speaks and understands English perfectly well.

The number of appeal avenues available to people in this situation is just crazy. There always seems to be another court they can go to next to try and get a different decision.

That said she is quite hot now, so I think we should hear what she has to say at the next attempt.

Take her to bed, come morning you have no head.

Hard to see how she's been hard done by, although I have some sympathy because of her original age when she left.
Pretty sure the courts would have overturned her revocation if there had been any chance whatsoever it was illegal.
