Quite possibly, they make it up as they go along - right to respect for your family or private life is one they sometimes like to interpret very broadly and prevent deportations etc.. maybe they'll use it to come up with some argument that she needs to be returned to her family.

Except of course you know full well that if she returned the Govt would pay for a new identity/housing etc to protect her safety.

Yes she was /is just a stupid girl but she made her choices (some of them very questionable by all accounts) and should stand by them now - you can dress it up with all the liberal bleeding heart hand wringing you like but that doesnt alter the fact it was a betrayal of this country pure and simple and she is now getting what she deserves.

Thats why she wants back, she'll never have to work again, the government will be forced to give her and family a house and free money, and all she had to do was join a organisation that's an enemy of the state

It surprised me at the time that the well known "bleeding heart liberal" (/s) Jacob Rees Mogg argued it was wrong of Javid to strip her of her citizenship

Parliamentary sovereignty is the bedrock of the constitution, and the courts ought to accept it, even when bad laws are passed. It is not the job of the courts to make the law, but to adjudicate on it. Thus the Appeal Court ruling against Shamima Begum is right, even if the decision of Sajid Javid,

Maybe but I think she'd stand trial. And there's a case to be made to put her on remand.
