When pouring several glasses of champagne, put just a splash in each glass. Then return to the one you started with and top it right up - it will fill up easily without overflowing with fizz.

Much quicker than pouring half a glass, waiting for it to die down, pouring a bit more, then a bit more, then repeating for every single other glass....

Do not try to clean your kettle with half a bottle of malt vinegar.
My housemates decided it would be a good idea to try this. Lucky we had spare that was exactly the same.

1. Clean microwave.....
Lemon Juice in bowl in microwave. Turn microwave on for a couple of minutes. Note tip 2. Wipe stubborn food away easily.

2. Superheating in microwave....
Be careful of boiling liquids in microwave in case they super-heat and explode. Always leave liquids for at least 2 minutes before opening microwave.

3. Don't try and impress a girl by cooking a meal with garlic especially if you don't know the difference between a bulb and a clove. (It happened to me in my first week of uni )

garlic mayo is very nice and easy to make - one clove of garlic per 4tablespoons of mayo, sliced finely and crushed then left in mayo for half an hour or so - MMmmm

oh and to steralise dish cloths (worth doing every week or so) make sure they are wet and dump them in the microwave for 2min on max - beware though, they will be hot!

been on the beach with no shoes on, sand all over feet, use some talc!

baby wipes will remove permanent ink from skin

WD40 will remove sticky stuff that sticky labels, masking tape etc leave behind

Tip 1:
to kill wasps use WD40 its more effective than ordinary wasp sprays as its a neural toxin to there bio chemistry. there will be no angry dying wasps buzzing around for 2 minutes like you get with ordinary sprays, one quick blast and they will drop, INSTANTLY.

Tip 2:
Never go to bed with an itchy bottom, youl wake up with a smelly finger.
