When pouring several glasses of champagne, put just a splash in each glass. Then return to the one you started with and top it right up - it will fill up easily without overflowing with fizz.
Much quicker than pouring half a glass, waiting for it to die down, pouring a bit more, then a bit more, then repeating for every single other glass....
