It is astoundingly arrogant for people to insinuate if this show does not fit in their palette of quality TV Shows you must be wrong or have low standards. Now don't get me wrong it's far from perfect and there is plenty of areas that could do with improvements. But the point their missing is everyone has different tastes and expectations. It not meant to be End game Level or academy award masterpiece. It's a light hearted fun show that's meant to be entertainmenting and imo setting it up for something else. IE WW Hulk and DD. It's a filler of sorts things to come.

Exactly.

If you are expecting She Hulk to be setting up some huge MCU movie thing, think again.

Somebody quoted/implied that Marvel should only show "superheroes" being heroic...that would be boring as hell if they were all like that.

With quality actors (and anyone who has seen Orphan Black can't deny that Tatiana Maslany is quality) sometimes you just want to see what they can do when they aren't being action heroes.

I'd have loved to have seen Tony Stark and some other Avengers, just in a single location for an hour in a TV show without any action, but we'll never get that.

It's still a small possibility that I'm clinging on to :D they'll drop something so big in the final episode you won't know what hit you !!!

But seriously, it's getting weird now. People who don't like the show asking people to explicitly define what they like about it so they can counter argue.

I will have to accept that the forum rules allow people to repeatedly post on threads of shows they hate, but I think it's a bit rich to be questioning people like the bloody Gestapo. Plus all the people who like the show posted their reasons pages ago, it's just lost in all the dross.

I also got chewed out for not watching a 12 minute Youtube video about the little mermaid, but the same poster can't watch a few 20 minute episodes of a TV show he's intrigued about?

I've seen more than enough clips to know I wouldn't enjoy it, you've made assumptions based on what? a thumbnail. Massively different scenarios. Considering it's the lowest rated MCU offering to date, I was asking a question as to why the folks think it's good are enjoying it, especially when quite a few of the same people found Eternals dull.

Silly me for wanting a discussion and finding out why people are enjoying it, maybe I should stick to passive aggressive personal attacks.

Here is a video I'd like you to watch.

It's a bit weird in parts but please can you ensure you watch it and then I'll grill you about it later.



P.s. I did actually watch it, in incognito mode.

1) the first 30 seconds were the best part
2) I can't believe 608k other people viewed this and they have 1.77m subscribers
3) there is a bit of swearing in it, but I guess the mods are down with it
4) possibly some racist words, but it's probably ok as the presenters are black themselves
5)on the whole great. I would definitely watch again and I'm hoping that one of their 1.77 million followers can recommend me another of their Bids to watch next!
6) they actually mention the same views on marvel films and She Hulk as most people in this thread have (in the last 60 seconds). So that was a pleasant bonus and very relevant to this thread

The first 30 seconds were a commercial for some chocolate milk drink. It was great.

I like the MCU stuff in general but this is not my cup of tea. I can’t say it’s making me laugh and it’s frequently annoying. But it is short so I can fit it in around other things.
