She Hulk (Marvel TV Series)

We’ve only had 7 episodes, that’s just under 45% chance per episode not to mention with 3 different blokes.

She’s a bit of a slagg :D

I don't know if you are doing it ironically, but you are basically ****-shaming the main character, exactly the same way that group did at the end of that episode.

Tony Stark slept with loads of women and was called a "playboy".

She Hulk sleeps with 3x different guys and is a "****/slagg"

Interesting we denigrate women for something we ourselves would be quite happy with, if we were single...

Tony Stark was a rich and successful, they generally live to different standards to 'normal' people.

Any normal person (male or female) that sleeps around is a bit of a ****, and any woman in their 30 that's thats riding the **** carousel is definitely a ****...
 
If the show can mock someone for holding values/morals including no sex before marriage then they can certainly take a bit of mocking back about she-hulk being a ****. But you know, white knights assemble!!

I just thought it was a bit excessive for a marvel show / product. Think I watched most of them and dont remember the main character shagging on screen every other episode.

But perhaps you are right, I originally was just saying in jest.

Personally though if someone I knew was having sex with randoms, often on the first date every other day I would call them a slagg regardless of male or female.
 
You totally wouldn't call a man a ****. :cry: There lies the rub.

Besides the shows not a daily diary, takes place over a longer period of time than "every other day".

Making a 'joke' at another's expense is mocking. Upset? nah, just enjoy pointing out double standards personally, I would love it if the next time Steve Rodgers is mentioned they deep-dive into how he would be a Christian, can you imagine the internet outrage, would be glorious!

I've been there.

I was in a pub, and I somehow got in to a discussion with another mates girlfriend, who was sitting opposite me, about how somebody we both know, but that I knew a lot longer (from College 20+ years ago), "used to be a bit of a ****" and my mates girlfriend was the first person to confront my attitude/language and it really stuck with me since.

I didn't call myself or any of my male friends who had sex with different people, slags - She was basically saying why is ok for boys/men to be promiscuous "lads", but not ok for girls/women and I had no good answer.

'Purity' (for want of a better word) is a desired trait in women by men, it's hard-wired in us by millions of years of biology and nature. No one is saying women cant sleep around with whomever they want, it's just ironic that the main reason you often see women who are single and looking for ltr's in their 30's is the inability to find a man when one of the main reasons they give is 'looking to settle down now' - normal men don't want a relationship with someone that has slept with 40, 50, 60 men plus, if you are buying a 2nd hand car do you look for one with 1 owner or one with 5 owners?

You've also got the point that it's a lot harder for normal looking men to have sex than it is for normal looking women, if an average dude has slept around a lot then he will have developed 'skills', be that humour, wage earnings etc, either that or has a very good Rohypnol dealer :D

I've had no issues with calling a male friend a ****, each to their own though.
