Even if that was the case and needed amending, do you honestly think we’d ask for opinions on if we should ban twitter based on members impressions of the owner and not think “That has to be a typo”?

You’re better than that and I’m disappointed you don’t think we are too.

If anyone has any further input, say it now please as I think this thread has just about run its course.

Peloton then close. Cody Rigsby is back so it’ll be at least 30 minutes.
In case you are still denial, page 1 of Reddit:

Edit: behind a login wall apparently. Here is an example sub:

With (frankly) idiotic posts like the above I’m amazed that the mods actually bother to volunteer their spare time to keep the forum not only going but civil.
I mean out of all the things to spend your free time on, just imagine trawling through the dross on SC when it comes to election time (where ever it may be).
Whatever happened to being appreciative?
Or the dross in GD. You've have a fair few posts deleted I'm sure

What am I in denial of? Where did I deny that others may be considering banning X links because of what he did? The post was edited, and it was also clarified many, many times in the thread.

A random website that I have to sign up to, to read a free article

Yeah no thanks

Just go to r/all. Since yesterday I would say at least 25% of all posts have been subreddits declaring that they will no longer allow twitter links after consulting their users.

The reaction to the same question has been very different on Overclockers versus Reddit.

The reason for that is clear, Reddit is a largely US based membership whereas Overclockers is not.

Free speech.

If Reddit wants to ban X, fine. (Or subreddits whatever)

This forum is not an echo chamber, which you obviously want it to be.

LOL Free speech but the OP was edited by a mod to remove the Elon connection that everyone on Reddit is discussing?

Ahhh it was removed because we aren't allowed to discuss US issues, got it.

Obviously I don't read the same high brow subreddits you do, as I've not seen a single mention in any that I read regularly

I'm not sure how you got that from my comment, I was just explaining the disparity between the opinions here vs. those on Reddit as per the post I responded to.
