Nah I would just like the moderators to do their job of moderating deliberately antagonist posts like you have just done, staying impartial by not liking said antagonistic posts, not posting antagonistic posts of their own and not removing important parts of a thread title.

For the record, I think if the mods wanted to ask that question then they 100% should have just made that thread themselves rather than editing someone's post to remove their content. Bad drills there but I can see how it could happen. Mods have good history on this, such as returning to original a thread title changed by @g67575 which amounted to an entire framing change.
Mistakes happen, it's all good, just mark it down on lessons learned, don't ban X embeds because that would be rather silly, and move on with life.
Or have a bit of a melt down about it, whatever floats your boat, we should - and appear to be - free to do that

Volunteer or not I don't think it is appropriate for moderators to be antagonistic and also showing support of antagonistic comments by liking them.
When the moderators start taking sides in the way the mods have done in this thread, it makes the forum a hostile place for people who may be on the other side of a debate.

Yes, I edited the first post (not the thread subject) when I unlocked the thread and posted this. The original question was whether Twitter should be banned and as we wanted to keep Musk discussion out of the thread and in the SC thread, I removed the comment about him from the first post.
/edit - and at the same time I deleted a whole bunch of posts about Musk. There had already been two warnings in the thread about keeping it on topic.
