Edit
Well it seems to have put me in this group http://whatpulse.org/stats/teams/6098/ . I joined the only "OcUK" team there was, no idea why my name isn't on the team URL you've posted.
I think it measures pointer distance rather than physical mouse distance...WotDa said:Just noticed, as my mouse is set so sensitive, that 3cm = 19" traveled it could be a while for my first mile.
Not sure why there's two teams tbh, but yeah its overclockers uk rather than ocuk.sniffy said:Cheers joe.

As far as I can tell nobody knows what it's counting. I've seen other mouse mileage counters and you always had to specify your monitor's measurements. In this I think it's just making up figures based on a standard size. It might be as sophistocated as assuming things like 1280x1024=17", 1024x768=15". However, it could just as easily be assuming we're all using 17" screens.Joe42 said:I think it measures pointer distance rather than physical mouse distance.
If we did I certainly don't remember it.Joe42 said:I seem to remember discussing this before, did we ever find out what its measuring in the end?
