The 12v ATX CPU power cable is going to chafe against the CPU fan sooner or later = jammed CPU fan & overheat methinks.

I'm a NOOOOOBit isn't. It is in a Mini-ITX chassis, and the motherboard 'tray' is suspended above the PSU.
An HTPC is a home theatre PC... You wouldn't find a GTX670 in one of those

that is nothing, i was at a royal mail site once the pcs there had so damn much dust inside that it all looked like wool. before it was opened the case was damn hot on cold winters day. will never forget when we got a young un to take it out side and blast it pretty much looked like dinky nuke whent off. we all rushed off to dig out our overalls,gloves and 3m dust masks which up till then were never used.
combination of dust and paper dust from tally printers etc clog things up damn good. i am suprised they dont order a clean up every six months at the major post offices and sorting offices

I remember seeing a technician clean out a pc in the michelin tyre plant i worked in. The system was being used in the part of the factory were the raw rubber is coloured black, theres a fine black dust that settles on every surface. The interior of the case looked like it had been filled with powdered coal.
