It looks a lot worse in the picture than it is, I used a bit of foam so tere was some clearance for the fans, not sure what else I can do. Such stupidly wide ass cards!

I'll see what I can get out of them first and if it isn't going to be worth it the other PC in my household needs a GFX so will stick it in there.

I would be surprised if there's much of a jump in performance after 2. A little like SSD's if you're going to RAID them you're best to stop at 3

Yea I brought some black fan guards and then struggled to find short screws to fit them with, but my spare DimasTech thumb screws fitted perfectly and with a bit of red spray paint they match in well.

Note the one at the top back left that I forgot to paint LOL

Yes it's total overkill for the CPU. When I built the loop I had water cooled 680's and plan on water cooling the 780's but they are a custom PCB so i have to wait for blocks to become available.

CPU is a 4930K Hex core clocked to 4.8GHz and temps are very nice. Idle at 25-30c and full prolonged load about 65c
