Just out of interest, are the Apaches noticeably quieter than the Yates? And is the cooling comparable?

The Yate's kind of have a drone sound and if I recall you can't control their speed from within the BIOS. The Apaches are much quieter and keeping my E8400 @ 4GHz below 52C on Prime 95 Small FFT's (Ambient 20-22C).

Thanks :) - I think I might replace my Yates like you have (even on 5v they make a slightly annoying noise).

Best I could do with my power supply:

Also:

1. Will be braiding the cables for the case when I have the time :p.

2. That Motherboard will not go to waste. I will be getting an 6950 hopefully this year, and then another next year for crossfire + a new power supply.

:D

That's actually one of the older pics (I did say some have been posted in the past!). HDDs are the same though but may have been moved around. Old GFX was a GTX 260.

Hey thanks! Neat enough as it is it still doesn't stop dust!!!

Thehoover brush and paintbrushes see to the case and vents every month :p

yeah but it has fans in different position (I tucked in that cable you can see poking out from the bottom and changed a few other things.)
