****Show Us The inside of your Case!****

Just posted this in the corsair cables thread so may as well show off the new ice white pastel fluid!

Is it just me that thinks the mayhems white looks like errr... 'Gentlemans relish'???

His WC set up was just THAT good. :p

I'd be ashamed to post the innards of my Antec 300. I gave my entire system a clean on Friday evening so there's not a bit of dust in sight, the outside looks super, but cable management on the inside is pretty tough to do! I'll need longer cables and a few extra holes in the case before I can post something comparable to the neatness everyone here has managed.

Finally Making Progress..!!

Finally I get some pics that are Kind of worthy of a post here..
By no means as nice as some of the rigs i've browsed through but, it's still a work in progress..

Life started out last year as a System I paid £40 for.. Yep just 40 quid.

Asus P5W DH Deluxe // Core2Duo E6420 // 3GB DDR2 Kingston // Sapphire X1650 Pro // Hiper 580Watt CPU // Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 // XClio A+ Case // 250GB SataII Segate HDD // 300GB SataII Western Digital HDD

By no means anything special (decent enough board and cpu mind) .. but for £40 all in Excellent Working Condition.. Can't Argue..

Stumbled upon a Sapphire HD 4870 Silent Efficiency for a measley £35 .. Again working perfect.. Cheap Stepping stone for short term..

2 Weeks Ago I sold the board / cpu / ram and graphics for £120.. BONUS!!

And so off I ran with my bits of golden paper wondering what to buy in replacement..

I opted for a budget system (with the intentions to upgrade in the near future)

MSI Z68S-G43 (G3) // Pentium G630 2.7ghz // 4GB (2x2) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600

And for a very short week I was quite pleased with my new found system that plays BF3 in full HD - To reach this stage, I've only spent £82 TOTAL! - RESULT..

Unsightly I know.. Case is HUGE and has NO CABLE MANAGEMENT.. :( and theres just NO hiding it with the big glaring Side panel and 220mm side fan.!

Braiding my cables black and white within the next week or 2.. cable braids being delivered this week but moving house on thursday hinders the work..

And then just gotta find that ever so appealing CPU Cooler!!

i'm still using an ancient lian li pc6 series case so no motherboard tray and no where to route cables.

i've just upgraded a few bits of kit inside.

E5200 > Q6600
8800GTS > 6870
400W crappy psu > XFX 650w

should keep it going for a few more years. :p

My system in a fractal design define r3 case, As you can see there's not much room left inside, but thats how I like cases, just big enough to fit the stuff you need. Its quite hard to find small nice atx case nowaday. Its like we've gone big case crazy:D

Same as me, still using some old Lian Li case. Infact I would say that it is the oldest component! I'm sitting here looking at some of these cases and thinking how useful the little things would be. :o

Yeah few decent upgrades there marc2003. Should see a nice boost in performance...SSD next? ;)

i'm very pleased with my new toys. :p no plans for SSD though. i've read about how great they are and how everyone thinks they are the best upgrade but i just don't feel the need. i'll be waiting until the price/capacity ratio gets more sensible in another year or 2.

mine is by far. it's at least 6 years old if not more. i did contemplate a new case but it's not something that i can see giving me any perceivable benefit. i get no joy from looking at it and i don't really care about hot temps so long as my overclocks are stable.

edit: i did a search and found this dated 25th jan 2006. :o

camera phone... what can i say.... :p
