The motherboard is horizontal so that's where the GPU sits.

It's a xonar essence ST deluxe sound card, which comes with the HDAV H6 surround card. (connected via the ribbon cable. OCUK don't sell the daughter card)

it isn't. It is in a Mini-ITX chassis, and the motherboard 'tray' is suspended above the PSU.
An HTPC is a home theatre PC... You wouldn't find a GTX670 in one of those
