Had a fiddle with my new HTC One M8... and came up with this, amazing what phones can do now!

Make it rain? :D

Love those seats, thinking of getting one done for my bike too (after I buy a more padded seat that is!)

Thinking of putting a set of blue stealthy blue LEDs/lights on the back of my mirrors that I can flip on when I filter - they're legal if they don't flash, right?

What, amazing that phones can ruin a good photo?

Looks a nice CBR, personally I'm not a fan of coloured lights, tyre paint, stickers, etc. Too much stick on tat.

Great actual bike though, loved mine.

Yeah the Seat is amazing... bear in mind mate you can ask the guy/gal to put a GEL insert and even heated elements into the seat... I didn't bother as the padding he's put on is 25% thicker than standard as it is by my reckoning, maybe even more... it's perfectly comfy.

As for the lights... Mmmm, not sure tbh... I just stuck them on because I can, never use them though, apart from once when it was thick fog... had the bike lit up, sorry, tacky, useless or chavy, call it what you want, at least I would be seen in thick FOG which is worrying in a car, never mind a bike.

Are they legal, not sure... as long as they're not projecting onto the road maybe? Not sure how it works...

dangermouse425 - Looks great! What's the finance deal out of interest? I bought a bike from Hughenden M40 a few years back. They offered me a great part-ex deal on a Fireblade. Nice guys too.

pugheaven - Very arty :p

That brand new mate? They look sweet in white ;-)

Yeah, brand spankers. I love it, and it terrified me in equal measure.

Yeah, they're a good bunch from my experience. My mate bought a second-hand Bonnie a few years back, and I've always enjoyed my visits there.

It was their TriStar thing. In the cold light of day, I got a bit carried away with the finance deal and the buzz from testing the Daytona. At the end of the period, I'd still have spent a hell of a lot more than I was intending. Spending £8k on a new bike over 3 years is still spending £8k, even if it's over a monthly payment plan.

Tested this gem at JL too. But it's still a bit above budget.

Ok so you have two main options, finance, and if you do finance then you go new and have something sweeeeettt... or you have as budget and see what you can find...

So, if you was to have a "cash" budget, what would this be and lets see what you an get... a fixed price and nothing more!

Me personally I'd never go for a brand new bike... it's like cars, just deppreciate way too quickly! The amount of bike you can buy for £3k nowadays is mental!!! I bought my CBR600F4 with 8,300 miles on it for £1,600 notes... and wasn't a single thing wrong with it or a spot of rust or dirt anywhere!

I mean, any limit on age or what> Looks at this:

03' plate, 7,600 miles... £2,495 that's mental for that amount of fun/looks etc.

A 955 daytona is a bit of a big drop in style & performance over a brand new Daytona that he wants though.... :p

Well, I think it's lovely hahaha... was just giving an idea what you can get 2nd hand now... it's mental really in VFM terms I mean, it's barely ran in... yeah a lot of people want the latest stuff etc, but then again nothing quite like owning your bike outright... I've been looking at the AV Agusta Senna for some time now and there's two currently for sale... 12k and 15k... then I think, will that actually give me more fun than I have now? Probably not, but they're sweet lol :-)

I just find it hard to justify new car or bike money... just to see it disappear...

Its italian so probably not, but it will look good broken down in your garage :D

I agree they are always a lovely bike to look at MV's but I would never buy one, they are even more form over function, *even compared to Ducati's :D

I also personally would not buy a brand new bike, although weirdly the only bike I have been tempted with has also been a 675 Daytona!

*My opinion of course!

been pondering on getting that action cam after a couple of near misses,
or try and waterproof and rpi and camera some how on the bike

Just bought myself this:

Got it at a bargain price as it's been sat for a few years and it fell onto it's right side into a wall on the guys driveway when we had the weather back in Feb. With a bit of TLC (New battery, caliper rebuilds, bodywork, seized hub, rusted chain etc lol! ) she should be good as new :)

This is her pretty side :D
