whats the deal with booking test rides at dealerships? never boguht a new bike

The excess is usually around £1000 and I only know of 1 dealer who charges to test ride, refunded if you purchase the bike, to offset their insurance costs they claim.

You'd need the usual documentation, though hasn't the paper counterpart now been scrapped?

Not sure if i put this in here before. My FZS600.

My first 'big' bike. Had it 2 years and still love it.

Picked it up Saturday, 0 miles on the clock :D

Really? When I asked Triumph if it'd come with 0 miles on the clock when I picked it up (just so I could say I've ridden every mile on the bike!) they said it had to be tested at the factory so it'll have about 4 or 5 miles on it!?

Rubbish, or legit?

I think mine had something like 5-10 miles on it when I picked it up. They test it on a rolling road at the factory and the dealer test rides it as part of the PDI I believe.
