I need some ideas for a good 125, as I can't do my DAS until the 15th of may , I may as well get the road experience in, don't want to spend anymore than £6-700, also have the benefit of passing it onto my friend who has his CBT next month. :)

YBR125, CG125

At £6-700 you'll be pushed to find a roadworthy 125, buy on condition rather than model/price. CG125 will probably be the easiest to find, just don't go Chinese.

I have a fair bit of £8-900 ybr's around my area and you could probably negotiate the price to £750. The CG125 so far has been much more expensive and harder to find than ybr 125, but it might depend on the location.

Test rode it yesterday. Was sold within 10 seconds of pulling off on the thing. Within 5 minutes I felt like I had already put 1000 miles on it. Everything just felt right. For a machine which houses so much get up and go it is so hugely manageable, even at slow traffic speeds it's sublime.

Excuse the poor picture, the weather is pap so it's sitting inside, ACF50 settling in.

Poor old Duke sitting in the back ready to be sold :(

Same ^

I test rode one when my RR was in for a service, fantastic bikes, the power of the RR with more comfort.

Enjoy it mate. You got the best colour too imo.

My white Tiger 800 is cool but it was only the best colour option since they didn't do a flat black, just glossy which I didn't like.
