That last lap in the rain was despicable :p cant believe everyone slowed down to a stop almost, unless you were all on slicks get a move on lol

It's the 4 riders down at the end of the straight that made me slow whilst wondering what the other guys had stopped for - oil came to mind!! There were 3 bikes down in one go in the last morning session on oil so the memory was vivid

My tyres were well worn Racetecs with K2 compound - so almost slick!

I am uploading more videos of this trip ... loved it :D

Looking forward to more vids, really makes me miss my K5 750, she was a beast on track :(

My first Bike :D

2003 Hornet CBF600

Mods are just reworked exhaust for louder cleaner revs, mirrors that dont vibrate at 70 and renthal bars. REALLY shocked at insurance - licence since June 2010, my wife and I named - £95 quid a year with bennetts!!

Goin to get clear indicators, sort rear end out and give it a good clean/service over the winter. It will only see dry days. Next year I shall give this to the other half and I ll get a new GSXR.

Crikey! That insurance price is awesome! Looks nice with the undertray there.

Oh! And congrats on getting your first bike! :D

That's a nice looking Hornet! Being married seems to help the insurance a lot, and I'm guessing you are probably outside the high risk age (late teens/early 20's)? My insurance was about the same fully comp for an 05 SV650, and that wasn't the cheapest quote either as I paid about £8 extra to get a policy that allowed me to ride other bikes.

Yeah I have just turned 26 and married this year. Wife is 24 and had her licence since she was 18! Bit strange, slim blonde on a big bike lol

Its a great feeling. Goes like stink!

Nope, that won't work - people still won't see you m8.

Reason?. Because one look at that and their retinas will be burnt out. :p

:), I have noticed traffic treats me different though, traffic kinda parts for you .....now just got to rig up a switch to make them alternate one to the other, might be illegal though

Got my throttle bodies on now with eprom and modded exhaust manifold. Went for a quick 5 minute run to test it and it's running smooth as silk without even being remapped yet, very surprising! Still, it won't be at 100% so it'll be getting remapped Weds/Thurs this week on my days off :D . Only problem I had was the new TB's needed a bit of WD40 as the butterflies were staying open for the last 1mm or so of travel if I didn't slam the throttle shut. Bit of lube and a wiggle and all was well ;) .
