Well finally finished this job that started months ago. It took so long as the standard clip ons just went long enough to allow the fitting of the new Brembo race master cylinder. In the end rather then bodge it I decided to do it properly and bought some nice Vortex clip ons from America. This took the best part of a month to arrive thanks to the idiots at Parcel Force keeping hold of them for weeks before letting me know there was duty owing on them. Then after I paid that deciding that they had lost the confirmation I had paid for them.

Just need to get stubby lever to match my previous one.

Whilst it was in bits I got round to making a start on tidying up the rear. Im on the look out for a nice undertray but for now I have just replaced the rear lights with a nice clear set with built in indicators. LEDs instead of the standard bulbs as well.

Been an expensive year of mods for the old dear. Shes had nice new ohlins rear shock, Maxton fork conversion, new master clyinder, brake pads and service. Cant wait for next year to get as many track days in as I can. :D

Looking good there. Any issues fitting those rear lights / indicators m8?. I am tempted to fit a set to the Mille but a few folk have had problems with them not working right. Would tidy up the bikes rear end a lot considering the current indicators are sat with modified brackets to accommodate the twin high mount Renegade system.

No problems at all really. Just make sure you get a new flasher unit to sort the blink rate out. Its a must on old pre LED bikes. Far better then having resistors plugged in everywhere that run stupid hot and will melt anything they touch. I took my time and wired everything in properly. Soldered bullet connectors onto each wire, even heat shrink wrapped it. Looks a really tidy job inside.

Parcelforce really are my biggest enemy at the minute.

Did you not have a tracking number? I hate the fact that one's parcel is sat waiting while that damned letter is in the postal system.

What I do is follow the tracking, then once it shows as arrived at depot, I shoot off to the depot with my ID then pay and collect. Doing it this way gets you your parcel two days sooner.

If you have no tracking number you just keep phoning and pestering the depot asking if they are holding any parcels for such-and-such address.

If they give you any static just tell them that their letter must be lost in the post.

Just so you guys know it actually customs that have to post that letter not parcelforce, the delay in you receiving it has nothing to do with parcelforce. The alternative would be parcelforce not collecting and paying the customs on your behalf and you having to arrange to have it collected by other means, believe me trying to organise that with customs would be close to impossible. Ever tried to get through to customs to dispute charges?

Just saying :)

You're talking out of your arse. There can be a delay with customs but Parcelforce make up the bulk of any delay.

I could debate this with you but this isn't the thread for it.

No they don't, I happen to know what I'm talking about as I work for them. The only delay is customs putting the charge on the item and informing the customer. Parcelforces job only starts when customs release it, as soon as that's done the parcel is normally in the delivery depot within 48hrs.

But as you say this is the wrong thread for it.
