*** Show us your bikes! ***

I adore RGV's. There was a 125 I was keeping an eye on via eBay fairly locally, but it expectedly went for more than my budget allowed.

Just did a coolant change on the RS. Painless, but then I'm used to doing cars. :D

Coming up.....

(when I get more photos and its not in my front room!)

Haha VoG!

Well for now I can tell you this.....

The bike was the chaps wife's who had their 2nd child 4 weeks ago. (congrats to the bike seller and I wish the best for them) She has therefore not ridden the bike since.

The chap himself was really nice and his house was just jaw droppingly amazing!

He put a bit of fuel in it, replaced the oil with full synthetic oil. It had its 600 mile service. No MOT done as it was purchased new and had 3 years before an MOT was due. (maybe its been sat longer than 10 months as it should have had one mot by now?)

Started it up, let it run for a few mins to warm up and the engine was purring away. One tiny mark on the end of the tail but it is insignificant. I was shown the original purchase receipt and the docs for the bike hen next thing we are shaking a deal for £........:D

PS for those who want to know its a 2007 suzuki, 650cc with 1076miles on the clock.

Aye, an 07 plate runs for 6 months ( March to Aug ) so it should have at least 1 MOT under it's belt, so it could potentially have been parked up for 2+ years.

I am confident it is a peach of a bike! Tuesday will tell after the MOT lol.

Ok VoG... I paid £2200. £95 less than he advertised it for:D

The lad I was doing my DAS with has got himself a Yamaha XJ 2009 with over 10k on the clock and I think he paid around the £3k mark, big difference of mileage and price to me!:D

You drove a hard bargain then :p

You do realise don't you that if it flubs it's MOT, or develops a fault any time within the next 3 months, we've got carte blanche to rip the pee mercilessly?. :D

Yes I know VoG:(

There is a line from a song by Laura Marling and it goes... 'Cross your fingers, cross your toes'....:D

Everything on the bike still feels tight, no play on the front or rear brake (feels like new) and the clutch lever has no up or down play in it either... but if and IF anything goes wrong what would you deem a fault? lol

Had a quick ride out today, went to 3 sisters, although didn't take it on the track, not yet anyway :p.

And just noticed after all this time, the title of this thread has a 'you' instead of 'your' lol.

I do reckon a tail tidy and maybe some flush mount indicaators would make a slight improvement but not drastically. Other than that she looks perfect.

How does she ride?

She rides fantastic. I can't wait to the RPM limiter is taken off. Going to be booked in later this week, or early next for its first service. I don't think I'll ever know the bikes full capability mind you lol.

Had it a few months, already come off it and replaced gear shifter and foot brackets and pegs.

Awesome bike, absolutely love it! only a 125 as you can tell so not as cool as you kids

Awesome bike mate. Will have to get round to trying one of these some day soon. When I do though I feel it may end up costing me bucks.

Hey it has two wheels and puts a smile on your face, therefore you're a biker. Just because it's a 125 doesn't mean anything less. So, what happened with the off?

It was ridiculous mate, I wasnt going quick at all and just misjudged my space, slammed on but front wheel was on something and bike went from under me I knew I was coming off so turned left into it, I have no intention of doing anything of the sort any more put it that way hah.

Snapped my gear shifter off, I was in Keighley at the time so managed to first gear it to a garage and he just stuck a bolt through it so I got home, Rather anoying though as I went into Colin Appleyards to see about parts and they just laughed and said no Hyo dealers in Yorkshire.... garage literally accross from it turned out to be a hyosung dealer :D nether the less I bought all my parts online and got them shipped over, worked out a hell of a lot cheaper.

I'm trying to get a proper jacket and pants but nowhere has stock of anything at the moment near me :( Lovely looking bike you've got pug btw, how long have you had it?
