How finding it eddie?, for my mate it's the most amazing thing since sliced bread:p, it's his first bike after passing his test.
I must say though that it's absolutely stunning and sounds incredible with the arrow can with baffle removed.

First bike since passing his test, his insurance must be astronomical!

Not jealous honest! :p

Lol, i don't think it's that much tbh, he's 25 so not sure if that's helping him.
The bike was a treat for him after getting back from afghan so well deserved, but yeah, still hate it:D

Nice first bike, I was tempted to get one, but it is too small for me.
i was quite shocked by how small it is too, but truly a stunning bike and the noise with the arrow can fitted:eek:

I'm loving it to be honest, I'm only just starting to open it up now that is pretty much run in. I came down from a 10R so it's a little less powerful but you have to work for it which makes it more rewarding on the road for me.

The noise is fantastic, i'm going to be purchasing an Arrow can in the next few weeks too.. they sound awesome.

Being 6ft1" it is a much more aggressive riding position than the 10R and I find my wrists hurting a little in town.. but that is to be expected, it's so damn small / narrow. I'm also finding the suspension pretty hard for the road, so I will be softening it up a bit, but that is the joy of fully adjustable Ohlins.

The quickshifter is a peach, it's first time I have used one and now I hate riding bikes that do not have one. Pin it open and just feed it gears = :D

Overall I'm loving it and I can't wait to get it on track and do the annual 'Ring trip as I think it will really shine then.

Sounds like a good plan eddie;) i'm 6ft and had a little go on it, found that, like you, my wrists hurt a little but nothing that won't go in time.
Again i think he found the suspension a little hard and must people i've spoken to recommend adjusting it a little for road use so defo worth giving it ago.
I may have a few vids of him doing flybys with the arrow fitted and no baffle, i'll have a look and post it up if i find it.

I'm on it guys;)
Gonna have to wait until tomorrow some time guys sorry, files aren't on my pc anymore so i'll grab them off my mate in the morning hopefully.

I'll get some better pictures once I have my camera to hand :)

uksoldierboy nice bike :)

The white and red go together really well.

Not sure if I uploaded my new bike pictures but I got this last year after selling my broken 125cc.

Needs a little work of some parts.

Should be picking this up on Friday. A guy has PX'd it against my Westie. Not sure if I should keep it and stump up for the insurance (£1200!) or sell and buy what I really wanted in the first place (a 675 Daytona).

Insurance is steep because I lost my NCB - I've not had a policy in 2 years :( And I was in a car crash last October.

Damn you insurance! It's affordable, but paying over a grand for insurance makes me uneasy!

1200 a year is ridiculous, If you use it for 6 months it will cost you 50 quid a week insurance. I'd get rid for profit & buy a more sensible bike for a year or 2.

R1's are the sex though obviously but 1200 is a complete **** take.
